How much does a Member of Parliament (MP) earn?

The introductory pay scale of an MP a year is £63,291. Government will cover the expenses for traveling and accommodation. He/ she will be paid for each additional responsibility like being minister or chairing committees. Pay scale may vary and figure is indicative.
