Default What skills are needed to become a Member of Parliament (MP)

Performing as a member of parliament needs certain qualities and skills. A motivated and committed individual with genuine interest to help out people makes a good candidate. Communication skills, listening capacity together with confidence for public speaking is necessary. Multi tasking and performance under pressure is needed. Quick decision and problem solving ability is essential. Superior leadership qualities along with motivating and persuading skills are required. A real interest in economical stability of the nation along with awareness of social issues as well as current affairs is a must. A determined person with strong critical political outlook can execute his duties very well.
