You should be a good team worker and be able to inspire others during times of distress. Excellent mathematical abilities are essential, as you will be relying on your skills for complex calculations. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal is essential. You will be away from home for several months and may not see the shore for several weeks. Ability to cope with stressful conditions.
