How much does a Merchant Navy Engineering Officer earn?

Trainees start with £ 8,000 a year. Qualified officers earn £24,000 to £ 27,000. Experienced officers can earn between £ 30,000 and £ 50,000. Chief Engineering officers earn somewhere between £ 30,000 and £ 65,000. These figures are indicative only and don't count for actual salary calculations
