Default What skills are needed to become a Museum Curator?

Museum curators should be interested in history and their area of specialization. They should be well organized persons with good decision making ability. Accuracy and attention is needed to prepare catalogues and reports of museum belongings. Museum Curators must show budget management skills. They have to be well planed with administrative skills. Good communication skills and computer literacy are other requirements. They have got to be creative and show people skills. A sound knowledge about ways to make information assessable to general public and a talent to organise displays and exhibitions are needed.
