What skills are needed to becoming a Parking Assistant
Your employers will look for certain personal qualities like independent thinking, assertive communication, ability to handle difficult situations, professional mannerisms, ability to take quick decisions, being good at interpersonal communications, physical fitness, etc. There can also be other qualities like numerical skills that your employer might be looking for. You must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, on weekends and on holidays. You may be required to work late night at times (like big festivals or special events). You should be comfortable talking to people and giving parking violation citations when needed. Good reporting skills also are needed, as you will be reporting the developments to your managers or to the police.
