Default What Skills are needed to become a Patient Advice and Liaison service Officer?

There are certain skills one need to become a Patient Advice and Liaison Service Officer. Some of the most important skills are ability to handle complex and complicated situations, ability to make non- judgment approach, high level of mediation skill, good IT and keyboard skills, excellent listening and communication skill, ability to cope with high pressure and emotional situations.

Along with all these skills you must need the ability to handle distressed patients and their relatives and must have an ability to train others. An ability of understanding confidentiality issues and team working skills are also needed to become a PALS officer.
