Default Qualification required to becoming a Personal Assistant

Most of the employers may prefer people with recognized qualification in administration or secretarial qualification or good general education. Along with any of these qualifications if you have previous experience in administrative work then you can work as a Personal Assistant. You must be computer literate and able to use variety of computer software. It is an added advantage if you know shorthand or audio typing.
There are many universities and colleges which offer full time and part time courses in administration. All companies give training for personal assistant who helps to know more about the company procedure and systems.

If you have advanced qualification in business administration then you can improve your level of responsibility. Some of the relevant qualifications include higher diploma in administrative procedures, advanced diploma and higher professional diploma in business administration, and NVQ levels 3 & 4 in business and administration.
