Default Qualifications needed to become a Pilates Teacher?

Pilates teachers should be qualified professionals. Knowledge in exercises, movements and related physiotherapy through attending regular Pilates classes is required. Several organisations provide coaching in Pilates applications. Fitness instruction courses will enable you to join Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) also known as Exercise Register. Registration with such organisations will allow working with code of practice and increase your demand as a Pilates instructor.REP has standards in health care, fitness movements and exercise services. Membership will prove your practical proficiency and industrial qualifications. You can do further improvements through continues training. Diploma courses for a period of 12 to 18 months are provided by REP. CYQ Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Mat Pilates, OCR Level 3 Certificate in Pilates or Body Control Pilates teaching qualifications will allow you to join REP as a level 3 pilates instructor.
