Default Qualifications required to becoming a Post Office Customer Service Assistant

There is no formal qualification required to become post office customer service assistant. But there are certain selection tests where you need a reasonable standard of secondary education. The selection test has three stages. The first one is online questionnaire. This is to test your accuracy and number skills. It is followed by a telephonic interview. The last stage is face to face interview with top officials. If you have GCSE’s (A-D) in Math and English will be added advantage. Along with this qualification it will be helpful to become a post office customer service assistant if you have previous work experience in banks, building societies or retail sector.

There is training for around four weeks which helps to improve your career. You will get training on customer care and post office computer system.
