Default What qualifications are required to becoming a Private Investigator

In fact, no educational qualification can help you get a job as a private investigator. However, there are courses like BTEC Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Private Investigation offered by Academy of Professional Investigation, which can give you initial help. Good understanding of the rules of the land; good language skills; numerical skills; analytical thinking capacities; etc the basic qualifications. These skills and qualifications are not fully developed at any institute, but with your application of knowledge, understanding and analytical thinking in a specialised manner.

You can start working for private investigation agencies. You can find one in your city. The Association of British Investigators is a good place to start your search. Once you start working as a private investigator, you can even enhance your qualifications by taking up courses like NVQ Level 3 in Intelligence Analysis. To be successful, you must be able to travel long distances, talk to different people and collect information from whatever sources that are available.
