If you have read Holmes, Poirot, Marlowe, etc, you know what skills private detectives must possess. Although these are fictional characters, they have all the skills and qualities of a private detective. Being impartial, strong analytical skills, deep thinking, efficient use of available information, ability to connect links and the ability to collect evidences for inferences – these are all the skills that a private detective must possess. They use variety of tools including digital cameras and collect evidences from records (bank records, travellers' details, etc), newspapers, computers, etc.
