Default What does a Quality Control Technician Do?

A Quality control/ Quality Assurance Technician will ensure the fineness of the products and processes, in the direction of its national and international quality standards like ISO 9000. He/she will setup standards for companies and manage the quality control systems. Quality Control Technician is a part of food and drink manufacturing, chemical laboratories and cosmetic industry. He/She will spot out and remove the faults through Hazard Analysis and Non Destructive Test (NDT) at Critical Control Point. Testing the tolerance limits of machined parts, Microbiological, chemical and physical samples and labelling accuracy is verified by a Quality Control Technician. He/She will asses and rate the suppliers, more over ensure the production methods meet relevant legislation through reviewing and updating quality control policies. Training the new staffs and generating customer feedback and complaints reports, for quality managers are also part of the job.
