Default What skills are needed to becoming an RAF Officer

An RAF officer should have leadership qualities, good communication skills, self discipline, confidence, and ability to motivate others. Good organisational skills, ability to respond to variety of requirements, including flying late in the night and working under unfavourable conditions. You should be self motivating and able to handle complex technical equipments. Being able to keep good levels of fitness and being able to organise everything under your control too are essential. Sometimes you are posted to extremely complex scenes like combat fronts and should stay focused on your duty. Several months away from your family can be tiring, but you should be able to overcome such situations with grit.
