Default What skills are needed to become a Rail Track Maintenance Worker?

A rail track maintenance worker should have good physic and fitness to handle heavy objects. Good technical knowledge along with practical and mechanical skills is needed. Team working and self initiation is required. Good communication skills and safe working knowledge is necessary. They should be able to handle both automated and hand tools. Accuracy and concentration is essential. A rail track maintenance worker should be medically fit with good vision and hearing ability.
