Default What Do a Recruitment Consultant Do?

A recruitment consultant is an efficient middle man connecting employers with desirable job seekers. He/she will take vacancy bookings and write effective job Ads plus advertise the same in suitable Medias. A recruiter will attract desirable candidates as well as motivate them to apply. A consultant will keep the register of clients, employers and vacancies.

He/she will arrange client visits along with screening of the candidates to match them with the suitable job profile. He/ She will interview the job hunters to assess and short list them prior to their meeting with employers. A consultant will act as head hunter as well as informer for the candidate about interview results together with preparation of call letters.

He/She will be a negotiator between employer and candidates regarding pay and salary rates along with agency fees and make them use the agency for long term to generate new business through building good interpersonal relationship and cold calling.
