Default What does a Reflexologist do?

Reflexology works on the principle of energy pathways inside the body. According to a reflexologist pressure points in hands and legs are joined together to other major body parts through energy channels. Reflexologist will apply pressure on these reflex points and reinstate natural balance of the body to enhance the healing process. Stress, sleeping disorders, sort injuries as well as chronic back ache can be cured through reflex therapy. Reflexologist will develop an understanding on the health issues as well as life styles of the patients. They will collect the medical history and explain the treatment methodology. They will examine hands and feet of the patients to find out energy blockages and apply pressure using thumbs and fingers at reflex points to normalize the energy flow. They will refer the clients to their GP on necessity and keep updated treatment records. Reflex therapy is effective and can be applied in combination with other message therapy.
