Agility, toughness, and determination to achieve anything asked of you – those are the essential qualities required from a royal marines commando. They should have good communication skills, practical technical knowledge, high levels of physical fitness, ability to follow orders, willingness to work in dangerous combat zones, etc are also essential. You will mostly in command of yourself and you should be able to take orders. Good understanding of the situations and the ability to react quickly under pressurising situations are all essential qualities. This is not a nice job, but is only for the toughest people.
