Default What skills are needed to becoming a Royal Navy Officer?

A Royal Navy Officer should be confident, have good leadership skills, resilience, discipline and determination. The ability to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of people under your command and the best utilization of strengths are all essential. You will need good communication skills. Physical fitness, stamina, and ability to engage in combat situations are all essential. You train yourself and train personnel under your command to keep yourself ready for any emergency situation. You need to be a constant learner and determined to achieve career milestones. You also should have an active interest in the welfare and career development of commandos under your control.
