A royal navy rating needs to have good physical capacities, good team working skills and willingness to take up challenging assignments. You should be disciplined and able to meet the requirements in an able form. Ability to take sound decisions under pressure situations is a key skill you will develop during the training. You should be comfortable handling mechanical parts and technical equipments of various types. You will need good communication skills and ability to cooperate with your team members. You shall be willing to go to combat scenes, anywhere in the world.
