Default What skills are needed for a Signalling Technician?

You will need good levels of technical skills and good levels of physical fitness. Attention to detail, ability to identify faults, ability to read and understanding technical diagrams & maps and a methodical approach to your job are essential requirements. You will also benefit from good levels of computer and math skills. You need to have good listening and communication skills. You will be working alone or as part of a team. You will be required to work in unfriendly conditions and should have the mental and physical toughness to deliver your duties.
