Default What skills are needed to become a Software Developer?

Proficiency in hardware, software and programming languages are essential for software developer. Along with that they should be capable of interpreting and following technical plans. Software developer should be a knowledgeable person on computer aided software engineering tools. Personal skills are valuable in this profession. Excellent spoken and written communication skills are needed to understand client’s requirements. Customer skills and appreciation for client’s business demands is required. Excellent time management and project management skills along with performance under pressure are required to meet targets within the deadlines. They should be good team workers who can motivate and encourage people at all levels, including technical staffs. Software Developer should be a trust worthy person in handling confidential data.
