Default What does an IT Support Technician do?

IT Support Technicians work for IT companies and other businesses of different sizes, offering technical support. They help installation of IT hardware and software. They also offer help and support – either on site or over telephone/internet. You are responsible for installation and maintenance of IT systems. As an IT support technician, it will be your responsibility to talk to the clients to identify the exact nature of the complaint. You will then fix the complaint. You will also install new equipments like printers and new software & operating systems. Your duties can also include testing and servicing the systems in the IT infrastructure. You may also be responsible for offering training to staff members/executives on usage of the computer systems.
