Default What skills are needed to become a Systems Analyst?

A creative individual with outstanding knowledge in programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software can perform well as system analyst. Interest to remain up to date with latest trends and the ability to interpret information are required. Excellent spoken communication skills are necessary to gather information from clients and to explain complex ideas in simple ways. Team working and negotiation skills are important. Problem solving ability and project management skills are needed. Ability to prioritise the tasks and performance under pressure to meet the deadlines are essential. They should appreciate wider business demands and show budgeting skills.
