Default What Skills are needed for Town Planning Support Staff?

A Town Planning Support Staff member needs to have multiple skills. Technical skills like computer aided design and technical drawing skills are essential. They will have a working knowledge of office suite and different computer software. A thorough understanding of local and national laws is also essential. Math skills, ability to read maps, ability to draw and use technical diagrams, etc are also needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organisation skills and management skills are needed. You will sometimes come under tremendous pressure, but can't succumb.
