Default What skills are needed to becoming a Traffic Warden?

A Traffic Warden needs to be friendly and assertive. Traffic wardens should be able to deal with tough conditions including unexpected challenges. Should have good communication skills and should be able to take orders. You should be able to think sensibly under pressurising situations. Should be just and fair, a traffic warden need not succumb to emotions of any kind. Diplomacy and tact can take you quite a long way. You also need to be able to get along with other members in your team and with police officers. Should be able to diplomatically handle anti-social behaviour and seek support from police when needed.
