Default What does an IT Trainer do?

IT trainers provide training for IT professionals like software engineers, technicians, website designers and programmers. They plan and provide training courses in desktop software applications (databases, spread sheets) as well as technical areas (programming, web design). They are also asked to train clients on using ICT blackberry mobiles. They will prepare handouts, manuals and exercises together with other study materials. They are key people in organizing and marketing workshops. They provide classroom training programs or online training through virtual Learning Environments. They will set up IT equipments and also provide support and guidance to clients in necessity. Evaluating the outcomes of training programs are part of their duties. They liaise with external course providers, software companies and other examining bodies. IT Trainer repair, upgrades and carry on maintenance of hardware as well as software used for training purposes. They will keep academic records of training provided and remain up to date with recent advances in software and training technology.
